Dell Alienware Aurora – 2019
Alienware has long been a pioneer in the premium gaming computer market, setting trends in both performance and design. The Epic design language defined industry standards in aesthetics, and now, with the Legend design language, Alienware ushers in a new era. I played a significant role in this project, helping to shape how the new design language was applied to Alienware’s flagship desktop, Aurora.
The Legend design language is a return to form, with modern updates that highlight iconic silhouettes, large air intakes, and aero-inspired surfacing. The front face of Aurora is a dynamic and functional air intake, channeling massive airflow over the internal cooling elements. The design expresses not just power but also efficiency and elegance

In developing the Legend design language, I worked within the framework of existing design principles while pushing for fresh, innovative elements. This involved creating numerous concept sketches to explore different forms and directions, aiming to find the balance between functionality and uniqueness. These early explorations helped shape the final design, ensuring that the form matched the powerful, efficient function that Alienware is known for.
This project was about more than just designing a product—it was about capturing Alienware’s vision and translating it into a tangible, iconic form. The process involved exploring various design concepts and sketches to ensure the final design was both visually impactful and performance-driven. The result is a product that embodies the brand’s legacy while pushing the boundaries of innovation, creating a user experience that is both functional and inspiring.
