St. Peter’s Basilica for Europa – 2012

A floor blueprint of St. Peter’s Basilica for humans in the future who will evolve to become fish. I imagined an underwater basilica because Europa will consist entirely of water. I considered the sphere to be a fundamental element of pressure under water. I referred to several blueprints of St. Peter’s Basilica including Bramante’s, Raphael’s and Michelangelo’s. The cross is the main image of their floor plans, but I planned the basilica based on the concept of the Trinity since humans’ bodies will have evolved in the future.

* Paul LetaRaulilly's 'The Vatican and Saint peter's Basilica of Rome' and many data available in the internet were the excellent reference to design for Basilica in Europa.
