This piece embodies the talisman created for a child in Finland who showed troubling signs of possible abuse. Its pose and composition draw from ancient talismanic texts, grounding it in tradition, while personal elements—my attire at the time, constellations overhead—are woven into the imagery, linking past and present, myth and reality.
